GREEN FRIDAY PLANTING DAY

Last November, for the second year running, Green Friday saw a percentage of all our sales over the weekend of 26-28 November put towards planting 1500 native trees.

In early May, a coterie of Cosmic Crew made the scenic drive out to Blue Earth Headquarters, nestled in the picturesque foothills surrounding Methven. Together with the Blue Earth crew and a posse of dedicated volunteers, we mucked in and got to work. It was a beautiful sunny day with inspiring scenery surrounding us (and the gentle braying of nearby deer) the gang got to work. Holes were dug, posts were erected, and into the earth, we planted Totara, Kōwhai, Red Beech, Mountain Beech, Ribbonwood and Griselinia trees.
